Goal: To become aware of the (cultural) filters we use in our everyday life.
Conditions: The project is an international programme for youth aged from 18 to 25 who are able to work in simple English and willing to actively participate during the whole exchange

Another Look On Reality
The theme of the exchange is ANOTHER LOOK ON REALITY, hence what is a culture and how does it create diversity and resistance. On the other hand, how culture can be inspiring and motivating in society. In other words, how culture can be seen as a filter, and what the effects are when you look at reality trough the filters of a culture. Our cultural filters are also how we look on minorities (migrants, disabled persons, gypsies…), which is also the theme of the project.
We want to give you the opportunity to look at your own culture, your own filters and how they influence your way of “seeing” and also to see what is there to gain when you chose to look at reality through different culture - different filter.

The goal we want to reach during the exchange is to become aware of the (cultural) filters we use in our everyday life.
During the exchange you will have opportunities to improve your:

We will empower you to:

• Work by the ´learning by experience´ method – that is to reflect on one’s actions and act out of these reflections.
• To put this into practice ´back home´.
Dates:
Arrival day: 26th April 2010 whole day
Start of the program: 27th April 2010 at 10:00
End of the program: 7th May 2010 at 23:00
Departure day: 8th May 2010 before 11:00 AM
• When you receive the confirmation letter, check with the contact person of your sending organization before booking your ticket. In that way, you can organize together your arrival and departure time.
• We expect you to be there the whole time of the project
• If you plan to arrive earlier or leave later, and you need support with arranging accommodation, let us know. We can support you. Your stay during the days not included in the program of project will not be paid by organizers.
